Details of posting should be mentioned in Logbook
You can take maximum 3 months posting in other hospital for those departments which are not available in your training institution.

Presentation & Publications:

There is no specific requirement of presentation/publication during DNB training. In most Medical colleges for MS degree the requirement is 1 paper, 1 poster & 2 publications. Presentation & publications add value to your CV during interview for MCh, Fellowship or any job.

CME programme for DNB/PGT:

  1. Surgery update at MAMC (Link) | Usually in September
  2. SCOPE “Surgery Clinical Oriented Post graduate examination” Course. | Usually in February
  3. Clinical Surgery Update at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur. | Usually in July
  4. Annual Rapid Review course in General Surgery at SRI RAMACHANDRA UNIVERSITY (Link) | Usually in January
  5. ASI Zonal CME (Link)
  6. CME for PGs at Endosurg, AIIMS (Link) | Usually in March

Other CME for PGs: At BHU, Northern Railway Central hospital (March/July end), Madras Medical College
